Over the last few blog posts we’ve been looking at Steph and Alex’s wedding in Saffron Walden. We started the day with the groomsmen and got a few shots of them looking sharp. Then it was over to the bridal party, where bride Steph and her bridesmaids had just finished the last few details. And after Steph and the father of the bride got onto their horse drawn carriage to take them to the wedding ceremony.

It was the same carriage that after the ‘I dos’ and wedding portraits would bring Steph and Alex to the wedding reception. The reception was incredibly fun, with wedding traditions from Germany and the UK. First there was a game to see who knew the other better, so it was shoes off and then in the air to buzz in! Then after that there was a German traditional game with Alex’s hands tied down Steph, blindfolded of sorts, then took on task of feeding and shaving her new husband, which brought a few worried faces and a lot laughs!

It was then great to see Steph and Alex take to the floor for their first dance. Then to see everyone join them on the dance floor to dance the night away.

It was wonderful to be a part of Steph and Alex’s wedding day. There were so many wonderful moments and it was fantastic to see people from all over Europe brought together for the celebration of Steph and Alex’s life together.
