Wedding Photographer in Cambridge
Anstey Hall Wedding
A few months ago on the blog, we focused on our Engagement Shoot with the wonderful Tamsin and Alex around Cambridge, taking in many Wonderful sights such as Kings College, the River Cam and the Mathematical Bridge at Queens College. A few months later, we headed to the wonderful wedding venue Anstey Hall in West Cambridge.
We arrived at Anstey Hall, as today I was working alongside a second photographer, ready for the bridal prep. Tamsin arrived with her sister and Maid of Honour and the mother of the bride to start getting ready. This is always one of my favourite times of the wedding day, Make-Up Artists and Hairdressers arrive, Wedding Dresses are hung in dust covers, and the florists deliver bouquets and button holes.
It was a wonderful morning full of energy and excitement and it was great to spend it with Tamsin and her family. With everyone ready to go, it’s time to head to the ceremony venue. This was an upstairs room at Anstey Hall where all the guests had gathered. The groom and best man were ready at the front of the room, all waiting for the father of the bride to do his duty and accompany the bride to be down the aisle.
After a beautiful ceremony and ‘I do’s’ it was time for congratulations, and a few drink and canopies. And then it was time of get some portraits for our beautiful Bride and groom..
