Regular visitors to our wedding photographer blog may have noticed that, and indeed the whole site, has had something of a new lick of paint, while we are very pleased and excited with the new site, it has put us behind a bit with our blog. So our look back at this selection of our Wedding Photography in Black and White takes us back to the summer of 2014 when we headed to Dorset for a wedding on the south coast in Christchurch.
We have always loved black and white photography, even back to the days of our film camera, which still makes an appearance at weddings, we would always be in a possession of a couple of rolls of black and white film and a couple of rolls of colour. Luckily the digital age does mean that we no longer have that terrible decision of which roll to use next!
Indeed we do a full process of the final selection of images in both colour and black and white as we feel some images suit one style or the other, and sometimes the different style tells a different story as the focus on bursts of colour changes to lines and shapes changes the focus of the image.
The South West is also a region close to our Heart. We have family on the Hampshire and Dorset board. As well as Giles and Lorraine’s beautiful Wedding in Christchurch and we have been lucky enough to photography weddings at Milton Abbey at Milton Abbas in Dorset, the Tithe Barn at Petersfield, Hampshire and several other beautiful venue in the surrounds.
