Wedding in Mayfair

Over the last couple of blog posts we’ve been looking back at Hannah and Chafik’s wonderful wedding at Dukes Hotel at St. James Place, London. Being in the heart of London we were able to grab some wonderful portraits of our bride and groom in Green Park. The ceremony was around a wonderfully emotionally charge event, but now we had the evening reception in the Duke of Marlborough Suite, and a few more tears of joy would be shed before the end of the night.

While Hannah and Chafik may have know that Hannah’s cousin was going to sing at their wedding, what they may have not been prepared for a specially composed song for the occasion. I’m pretty certain that there wasn’t a dry eye in the house afterwards. Afterwards the Father of Bride read a prepared, but not expected speech, and of course Groom chalk had to step up to deliver some unprepared but ultimately beautiful words.

And then there was of course wedding cake, and well, I love cake and actually a cup cake theme, meant there was actually more than one cake! Although just to mention the cake is a disservice to Dukes amazing team of Chefs who prepared a simply amazing wedding breakfast.

I had a wonderful time at Hannah & Chafik’s wedding in Mayfair. Dukes Hotel was a fantastic venue, and Hannah and Chafik were an amazing couple with wonderful friends and family, and it was wonderful to see their wedding day celebrated in such a unique and personal way.
