Queens’ College Wedding Photography

At the end of last year, we took a look at the Wedding Blessing of Oliver and Meredith at Queens’ College in Cambridge. As part of all our wedding packages, we include edits of the selected images in both colour and Black and White, so we wanted to take a look back at Oliver and Meredith’s day in monochrome.

Regular readers of the blog will know that our love of black and white photography started from a young age, when I started with photography and using black and white film. Of course with film you have to make a choice before you release the shutter whether the photo should be in Colour or Black and White, with the digital age, that decision can be made later, and some might say doing both, we don’t make it!

Queens College was an amazing venue. The wedding ceremony was in the chapel, before having the reception on the lawn with the college and the River Cam as a backdrop. The wedding Breakfast was in the stunning Grand Hall. There were so many wonderful photo opportunities, and we probably only got to use half of them!

Having got married in California where Meredith grew up, it was wonderful to photograph their wedding blessing in Queens’ College, Olivier’s College from when he was studying at Cambridge University. It was an amazing day, and Queens’ College looked stunning in Black and White as well as colour and it’s wonderful to share it with you.
