In April we headed to Hertford for the wedding of Annett and Ian. Their wedding ceremony was at the wonderful Hertford County Hall, a beautiful building that give a wonderful backdrop to your wedding day. The stunning arches and gardens make for great pictures and visuals.
I met Ian and his best woman at the County Hall, and we had a moment to grab a few portraits of them. The time before the wedding ceremony is wonderful, as you see family and friends arrive and people catch up. All the the time there is the wonderful sense of excitement and anticipation, which puts a wonderful buzz in the air.
Anette of course arrived a little bit later and wore stunning wedding dress, which fantastically broke tradition, It was complimented with a wonderful bouquet. It’s always wonderful to see the smiles on the bride and groom’s faces as they see each for the first time on their wedding day as the bride walks down the aisle. It what the hours, days, months and years to wedding preparation had been building up to! After that it’s just a question of remembering the rings, not fluffing your lines and having someone to give the marriage certificate to!
After the ‘I Do’s’ it was out to the grounds of County Hall for some portraits of our Bride and Groom, and then onto the Wedding Reception. we’ll take a bit more of a look at that in our next blog!
